Hello my dear father! How are you? Wherever you are I hope you are good.
Today it’s your fourth memorial day. But still I feel you are with us. Though you are physically invisible but I can see you with my inner eyes, I can hear you.
You are/were the simplest gentle, kind honest person I have ever seen in this world. You were/are my first friend of life.
You were my first teacher, who taught me A B C D of life and existence. You lived a short but a meaning full life and great life. You have a good space in the heart of many people including me.For two decade we were together, I don’t remember a single day you treated me as a son, you were my good friend, and till now I miss you as a friend but that doesn’t weaken my deep respect for you as my father.
I know that my grandpa and your father past away when you were just 1 year old. You told us that; you don’t remember your father’s face (how cruel the life was with you). But you simply lived a great life beside these cruelties.
For your students at college you were the best teacher, for the villagers and relatives you were really helpful. At your office you were one of the dedicated staff. You were the first person to hold Master degree in my village, First man to initiate electricity campaign in our village.
People don’t honor you for what you achieved but what you contributed for the society.
You were a social person. When you past way, you left many things and one of the most important thing you left is a great message “LIFE FOR THE NATION/ WORLD. DO SOMETHING FOR PEOPLE AND THIS WORLD”. People are not only judged for what they achieved personally but are judged by their contribution to the world.
To the world you might be someone and to me you are the world. You were laborious person, never got time for rest and luxury, no time to eat properly, the cruel cancer attacked you and you past away.
My dear please father, forgive me for taking time to understand you and perceive your message, as Mahatma Gandhi had said “my life is my message”, in the same way your life is your message. I know you always had dreamt your son to be a next social person, I believe I am in that direction. I am working from my small level to bring change in world. I always need your moral guidance, support and encouragement.
I can go on writing for more than ten thousand words, I am not able to describe you and express my feelings towards you completely. I know you are somewhere looking me and my activities, so I am unable to hide any things from you. You are my strength. My dear father/teacher/good friend/brother, where ever you are, there might be no one like you son to remind you take medicine, so take care of yourself.
Our relationship will never die. Always keep us (me, mom and brother) very close to you keep on giving guidance support encouragement and keep on blessing us.

We may not shower him with praise
Nor mention his name in song,
And sometimes it seems that we forget
The joy he spreads as he goes along,
But it doesn’t mean that we don’t know
The wonderful role that he has had.
And away down deep in every heart
there’s a place that is just for Dad…..
